In New Zealand History with Mrs P our task was to make a animation or a play on how either Captain Cook,Abel Tasman or Kupe came to New Zealand and what their journey was like. I was in a pair with Nova and we decided to make a animation about Kupe's journey to New Zealand and this is the finished product! Enjoy!

Journey from Hawaiiki to New Zealand board game

For this activity I had to create a board game along the lines of Maori history. Me and Nova have created this board game together and we have made it so you can choose to be either Kupe or his wife. This board game is about Kupe and his Wife's journey from Hawaiiki to New Zealand. There are advantages and disadvantages along the way. You are very welcome to play my game but just remember to ALWAYS follow the rules!!!

Today is πŸ…ΌπŸ…°πŸ†ƒπŸ…°πŸ†πŸ…ΈπŸ…ΊπŸ…Έ!!!!     At school we had to make our own Matariki lanterns! This is min e and it represents Waita the star of the sea. I added blue sequins on the inside and some shells too. I stuck some black and red sequins on the side of the jar to look like stars! How do you celebrate Matariki? Are you making lanterns at your school?
