Mummification process

Hello Bloggers! I hope you are having a great day This is my google drawing that I made and I put facts about the mummification process on there. At school we have been learning about ancient Egypt and found it really fun! We even learnt how to read hieroglyphics. Do you now anything about ancient Egypt? If so what do you know?     

Persuasive writing

For this activity we had to choose a topic to write a piece of persuasive writing about and try and persuade the reader.                                                                                       
                                                Ban Plastic in NZ

 Did you know that most plastic bags and food rubbish end up on islands and it harms the wildlife?I think that if you ban plastic in New Zealand then it will be better for the environment. If you ban plastic in NZ that means that things like rulers and buckets will have to be changed and made out of different material and you could change rulers to metal and buckets to tin. Another reason is that if you love animals and sea creatures you may be shocked to know that they are being very heavily effected because of all the loads of plastic and we should help them. Also if you ever go to the rubbish dump you will see big squares made up of crushed plastic from our bins at home and you will also see diggers that they use to bury all of the rubbish so it is really sad knowing that rubish gets buried and only some of it is byodigradable. Also some bad chemicals can come off of the plastic do if we still want to use plastic at least use recyclable plastic that breakes down. Lastly each year around 380 million tons of plastic is made around the world and from the 1950s to 2018 around 6.3 billion tons of plastic has been produced worldwide.In the UK alone more than 5 million tons of plastic is made. I think that NZ should ban plastic as it can cause pollution and harm wildlife and the environment. I like how lily has told us about how the sea creatures can die from plastic, and how she feels bad for the poor animals, I do love animals, Also lily, Are you happy that the super markets make you bring your own bags, So they dont have to use their bags? Maybe next time you could.. Tell us more about the wild life and the animals that suffer? Well you dont hae to! I cant think of a god next step learning since its so good. W.A.L.T: Write a digital maths board game with links and maths questions.

 For this activity we had to create a digital board game on a google slide with added links to some maths questions that we made up.

Thinking Hats

What we had to do for this activity was we got given an article to read about The Government announcing new proposels to protect the Maui and Hectors dolphins and we had to fill out the boxes of what we thought about the article.

 For this activity we had to read off our sheet of paper that says the questions from the test that we have done and see what our goals will be depending on what questions that you got wrong.Also we are doing a personal goal which is a goal that can be something at home or something else that you want to work on I really enjoyed this activity.
