Prep explanation

At my school we have this thing called prep. Prep is two weeks long. In prep you have to apply for jobs such as Own venture (In own venture you are in a group making products and you can either be CEO, Secretary,Treasurer and workers.) ,Banker (In the bank you write in pay in the bank books and pay people) ,Warehouse(Only year 7 and 8s can apply) (In the warehouse you fill out order forms and supply them with their items they need to make their products.) ,Police (Only year 8s can apply for police) (In police you walk around the classes checking on the things that people are making and they can give people a bonus pay if they think they are working hard.) and advertising agency (Advertising agency takes photos of your products and they advertise them. To apply for jobs you write a letter and then you send it to the person who is in charge of the job you applied for. After you have applied for the job you will get an email saying if you got the job or not. Heaps of people don't get accepted and they just end up working in a group creating a business. If you are in a business you have to make products. Here are some examples of products people made at prep 2020. Stickers,Glitter Jars,Christmas Tree decorations,Chalk and etc. In prep we have two markets, Big market and Little market. We have markets so that the groups can actually earn profit. Selling in little market is optional because some groups may not have enough products to sell. Selling at a market costs prep money (The prep currency is called Taniwhas.). Big market is compulsory because that is where you make heaps of money. Prep is now over and everyone is now going back to doing school work. I very much enjoyed prep this year because it was my first time not working in a business. I worked in the warehouse this year and it was my first time.

Financial Literacy

This week and last week I have been working on this sheet. Last week we got given a family circumstances sheet and we had to write how many children we had,how many pets we had and how many cars we had. After that we got given a budget balance sheet which has our Tax,Mortgage,Income,Groceries and Fortune on it. On our budget balance sheet one day real life = 1 Week on our sheet. We missed a few days of our sheets so we had to catch up that why it took so long. On the 4th week Aka day we had our monthly bills. The monthly bills concluded of Tax,Mortgage,Groceries,Fortune,Life insurance,Property Insurance,SKY TV,Vehicle,Phone/Internet and Electricity. On week one I was going okay and I ended the week with $83.67 and on week two it got better and I ended the week with $181.47 but on week 2 on my fortune card it said add $15 to your mortgage. On week three thats were I went downhill and I ended the week with only $1.52. And lastly on week four the monthly bills put me in dept. By the end of the month I was in dept by  $878.48.
