Marble run idea

This is my Marble run plan that me and my group have created. In science we had to make a marble run that showed Gravity, Static friction and Dynamic friction. Our finished marble run didn't end up looking like our plan and it just turned out like the end of our plan. i hope you like our Marble run Plan.

Static Electricity experiment

For the Last 6 weeks we have been doing interchange. And one of our interchange subjects is science with Miss Power. We have now finished doing interchange but here is one of my recent science experiments.

Creating a parachute

This is another one of my interchange activities. This is my activity that we did in science with Mrs Power this week. Our experiment was creating a parachute and then testing it. We had to make a parachute in groups using plastic bags. I was in a group of two and my partner was Nova. When our parachute was ready we clipped on a peg at the bottom for more stability and then we went to the top if the fort and we all dropped our parachutes down. The group that's parachute took the least amount of time to fall won. My team didn't win but we got 2.27 seconds!

Interchange

                                            Interchange

                                  (っ◔◡◔)っ~Hello fellow bloggers~(っ◔◡◔)っ
                             Todays blogpost is about πŸ„ΈπŸ„½πŸ…ƒπŸ„΄πŸ…πŸ„²πŸ„·πŸ„°πŸ„½πŸ„ΆπŸ„΄

At my school from now on every Monday we have INTERCHANGE!!!

Our interchange classes are New Zealand history with Mrs Prendergast,Geography with Miss Hines and Science with Miss Power.
This week on Monday in New Zealand history we watched a interesting video about who first discovered NZ. In Geography we had to name all of the continents that make up the world and also circle all of those continents on a map. Lastly in science we did a experiment called spinning water and you had to grab a cup tie string on the sides fill it half way with water an spin it around and I was kinda surprised because the water actually stayed in the cup. "WOW"

Greymouth vs Texas

WALT:Research the weather in Texas and compare it to the weather in Greymouth or the whole of  NZ. Present your findings in a chart.

We are reading the book called holes and the book is set in Texas so we had to do a comparason of the weather in greymouth and Texas.
