Board game

W.A.L.T: Write a digital maths board game with links and maths questions.

 For this activity we had to create a digital board game on a google slide with added links to some maths questions that we made up.

Thinking Hats

What we had to do for this activity was we got given an article to read about The Government announcing new proposels to protect the Maui and Hectors dolphins and we had to fill out the boxes of what we thought about the article.

Chapter chat

For the last 7 weeks my class and a lot of other classes have been doing chapter chat.For chapter chat there is a man who creates 10 activities each week for us children to do and they all revolve around the book and what is happening in it.Also every time that there is a chapter chat the book is different and for this chapter chat the book was called a Fish in a Tree.Every Friday all of the classes doing chapter chat collaborate and do this thing on twitter called twitter chat which we kind of use like a blog but the man who creates the 10 activities also writes 10 question down for twitter chat and we have to answer them.Every week the man also chooses his favourite work from twitter chat and he posts it on facebook.

The book a Fish in A tree is about this girl who is called Ally and at the start she didn't  really think that she belonged in her school and she also thought that she was dumb because she could't read of write and she was keeping it a secret but then her teacher Mr Daniels found out that she had Dyslexia which is this thing that makes it hard for people to read and write and the words on the page move.Also after her teacher Mr Daniels found out about her Dyslexia she finally though that she belonged.

This is my favourite piece of work that I have done for chapter chat and it is my drawing of a bird that can swim!!

Multiplication stratagies

For this activity we had to choose a multiplication stratagy and write down ways that we know how to solve the problem and sometimes there are two ways or more to solve the same question.

How Long?

For this activity we had to be in groups of 5 or 4 and we had to choose a action and our groups action was jumping forward with two feet together and we also had to estimate how long the person jumped and some people got the estimate exactly the right mesurement.
