Today is 🅼🅰🆃🅰🆁🅸🅺🅸!!!! At school we had to make our own Matariki lanterns! This is min e and it represents Waita the star of the sea. I added blue sequins on the inside and some shells too. I stuck some black and red sequins on the side of the jar to look like stars! How do you celebrate Matariki? Are you making lanterns at your school?

It reminds me of when im sitting on the sand at the beach enjoying the calm breeze of the wind watching the waves or when im playing in the chilly waves having a great time.

Yea were making Matariki lanterns at our school and I celebrate Matariki by spending time with my family enjoying the Stars and etc.
